Form I-864EZ

It is a shorter form of Form I-864, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the Internal Revenue Code, and it is intended for instances that fulfill particular conditions. Form I-864EZ, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the Internal Revenue Code Form I-864 or Form I-864EZ is required by law for many family-based immigrants to demonstrate that the intended immigrant has appropriate means of financial support and will not become a public charge if admitted to the country.

If ALL of the following conditions are met, you may be able to use Form I-864EZ:

1. You are the individual who has submitted or is currently submitting Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, on behalf of a relative who is being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only one who is identified on Form I-130;

3. Your income for purposes of qualification is wholly derived from your salary or pension, as evidenced by one or more Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-2s given by your current or former employer.
